Abdul Monem Ltd. (AML), the leading infrastructure company of Bangladesh, is awarded the Pre-Qualification license from Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) on 6th June’2015 for developing Abdul Monem Economic Zone (AMEZ) at a strategically located land in Gazaria, Munshigonj.
Mr. Paban Chowdhury, Executive Chairman of BEZA handed over the license to Mr. A.S.M Mainuddin Monem, Deputy Managing Director of AML in a brief program at BEZA. Brig Gen Abul Basher Imamuzzaman, Project Director, AMEZ and senior officials from BEZA and AMEZ were also present on the occasion. Earlier AML received the Provisional Pre-Qualification License from BEZA on 1st March’2015.
Currently a renowned Japanese consultancy firm is conducting the Feasibility Study and Master Plan of the zone. AMEZ authority expects to start the 1st phase of infrastructure development as soon as it qualifies for the final license. Meanwhile the land filling, boundary wall and ancillary infrastructure developments are going on in full swing.
