A contract was signed on June 4, 2015 at 12.30PM between Abdul Monem Limited (AML), a renowned business house with heavy presence in construction and food industry, and Japan Development Institute (JDI), a renowned Japanese company, in collaboration with Maxwell Stamp Limited (MSL), a Bangladesh consulting house, whereby JDI-MSL undertakes to provide the Technical Advisory Services for preparing the Master Plan (MP) & Feasibility Study (FS) for Abdul Monem Economic Zone (AMEZ) to be set up at Bausia, Gazaria, Munshiganj.
Mr. A.S.M Mainuddin Monem, Deputy Managing Director of AML and Dr. Shoichi Kobayashi, Chairman, JDI, signed the contract. Mr. Paban Chowdhury, Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority (BEZA), Md. Harunur Rashid, Project Director (Joint Secretary)(BEZA), Mr. Abdul Monem, Chairman and Founder of AML and Mr. A.S.M Mohiuddin Monem, Deputy Managing Director II were also present in the contract signing ceremony. Also present in the ceremony were the top officials of AML, BEZA and MSL.
